"No story lives on unless someone wants to listen. The stories we love best do live in us forever. So whether you come back by page or by the big screen. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." -- J.K. Rowling

"In the series' first book, the #1 New York Times bestseller "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray, discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother, Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures."

Love it?

Hate it?

Yip yip!!! .... ????

Gotta say, not loving it.

Poorly edited. Seems rather cliche and cheesy....

May a better trailer present itself soon.

And why for crying out loud is Jace wearing a hood for most of  his scenes? It is not cool and mysterious. It is stupid. Especially when he is in a night club.

But let me cool down....

First 30 seconds were really terrific! I was excited. After than things got a bit sloppy for me.

The trailer was made only two days after the film wrapped filming, and honestly you can tell. This is the first trailer and it should have mystique. I'm not Twilight's biggest fan (or much of a fan for that matter) but if the people behind those films know anything, they know how to make trailers. They make brilliant teaser trailers and then trailers that slowly build up to the big trailer that lets fans know that 'this' is the book they've read and loved.

For the City of Bones trailer I feel they def gave things away waaaay to quickly and didn't make a heart pounding and tongue thirsting trailer like they could have.

Remember the original Twilight trailer???

That had everyone going crazy for more, 'cus it was a tease that gave enough away to want more.

This trailer, just gave it away.

Looks good, will without a doubt see it in theaters, but from what I've seen, I'm a bit (lot) disappointed.

And Lily Collins?? Beautiful, stunning girl. Acting ability from this trailer --- not so much.

Only time will tell!

p.s. and Valentine's white hair lackage?? I - can't even . .. . ...
