The 55-year-old New York-born actress will play the part of Wiress, an eccentric former surviving tribute who’s thrown back in danger alongside Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence).
Plummer, who won a Tony Award in 1985 for her potrayal of the title role in the Broadway production of “Agnes of God,” also had memorable turns in 1991’s “The Fisher King” and 1993’s “So I Married an Axe Murderer. . . (READ MORE)
