BREAKING DAWN Star Taylor Lautner is "Out and Proud"?!!?

The Twilight Saga star, Taylor Lautner has revealed to People Magazine that he is gay....

Lautner was born on February 11, 1992 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Deborah and Daniel Lautner. His mother works for a software development company, while his father is a Midwest Airlines pilot. He has one younger sister named Makena. Raised as a Roman Catholic, Lautner is of mixed German, French, and Dutch heritage, and has "distant" Native American ancestry (specifically Ottawa and Potawatomi) through his mother. Lautner grew up in Hudsonville, Michigan, a suburb of Grand Rapids........blahblah.....

"On Tuesday, People magazine told Gossip Cop that a fraudulent cover sweeping the internet
featuring heartthrob Taylor Lautner coming out as a gay man is one huge hoax.

People Magazine spokeswoman Julie Farin told the site, "The cover in question is 100 percent fake. This began as a ridiculous Twitter joke that went viral."

Dated January 7, 2012, the faux cover quickly went viral right after Christmas. It claimed that the 19 year-old "Twilight" star (who previously dated country singer Taylor Swift) was "tired of rumors..." and that he "opens up about his decision to finally come out."

The doctored cover was well-designed enough to fool many people -- even such celebs as Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons who tweeted his congratulations to Lautner for being brave and coming out.
He soon realized it was a hoax and tweeted, "Disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be..."

Lautner's rep did not respond to Reuters requests for comment. Of late, social media hoaxes are becoming all too common. Last week, a twitter death hoax claiming rock singer Jon Bon Jovi had died took the interwebs by storm -- so much so that the rocker had to post a photo of himself on Facebook to prove he was alive.

The authors of the Lautner hoax are not known." From nj.com!!

HAHAHAHA!!! OK, so sorry if anyone nearly had a heart attack over this, but I had to post it!! It was too funny....

Just to push the point, this is not true....Taylor Lautner has not come out of the closet and has not revealed that he is gay. It was a joke. A clever joke by someone with a lot of time on their hands, but a joke non-the-less...

American Horror Story is without a doubt, the best new show of the season and is def one of my all-time favorite shows!

The season has been amazing, filled with spook and drama, mystery and the best type of cheesyness possible! It really has been a great show and though its not book related, I really just wanted to share the news of season two!

Entertainment Weekly Inside TV Reports:

"Attention American Horror Story fans: hope you didn’t get too attached to the Harmon mansion and most of its inhabitants. Creator Ryan Murphy told reporters today that season 2 of the hit FX drama will begin with a new locale and a (mostly) new cast.

That means fans may — or may not — get another fix from stars like Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott, and Connie Britton when the drama returns next year. “Some of them will be coming back,” Murphy teased during a teleconference today. “I’m talking to several of them and we’re in negotiations. There will be familiar faces, but there will also be new faces on the show.”
Murphy hopes to announce the new storyline and cast in February.

Should some of the first season actors return for another round of AHS episodes, they’ll be “playing completely different characters, creatures, and monsters,” Murphy added. ”It’s a really fun idea to do an anthology show. That’s the way it was designed from the beginning. Every season, there will be a new haunting and we’ll have a new overriding theme.”

The drama’s unique mission has made it easier to attract top talent, Murphy acknowledged. He’s heard from many film stars who like the idea of not having to commit to so many seasons. “When we met with Connie, Dylan, and Jessica, they were interested because the story had a beginning, middle and an end. Connie just came off of Friday Night Lights and was not interesting in going back into the grind of a 5-year commitment. When I told her she only had to do a 1-year run, she was excited by that.”

Added Murphy, “I would have all of them back in a heartbeat to play someone completely different.”
But the mansion is definitely history, Murphy admitted. The set was already struck to move “onward and upward.” So long, original craftsman fixtures and solid oak floors!

The AHS finale on Wednesday averaged 4.4 million viewers, making it the most watched episode of the series. The show is currently tied with TNT’s Falling Skies as the No. 1 new show among adults 18-49 this year. It’s already the highest-rated first season show in FX’s history.

FX notes that AHS performed 50 percent better than Murphy’s last creation, Nip/Tuck."

I loved all of the characters and will really, really miss having them around! The idea of this house being a gateway to Hell, was so creepy and interesting and could have last many seasons, but the anthology series idea is pretty darn original and awesome!

Constance and Violet and all of the random, awesome scary ghost were so great! I hope, hope, hope that season two will be just as awesome!

Did you watch AHS??

Don't ya love it??

Magnus Bane is NOT in MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES Film!?!?!?!?!

The Fablife.com reports:

"It’s been more than six months since Jamie Campbell Bower was announced to play Jace, opposite Lily Collins’ Clary, in City of Bones, the first movie adaptation of Cassandra Clare‘s The Mortal Instruments series. After that, there seemed to be no forward progress in bringing demon-killing Shadowhunters to the big screen. What gives? Clare herself stopped by the VH1 offices last week while promoting Clockwork Prince, book two in Mortal Instruments prequel series The Infernal Devices, and gave us a very good reason for the movie’s delay: The original script didn’t stay true to the books.

“Nobody could settle on a script that they liked, and so there was a lot of back-and-forthing, and finally, it came down from the head of the studio [Screen Gems] that she wanted the script rewritten,” Cassie told TheFABlife. “She didn’t feel like it stuck close enough to the book. I kind of agreed with her. There were some characters that were taken out and things that were switched around, and it was very different from City of Bones.”

They brought Pretty Little Liars screenwriter Marlene King onboard to rewrite the whole darn thing, bringing back more of Clare’s characters and giving it a “great teen voice,” Clare said.

Of course, no screenplay is going to match the book word-for-word, so we wondered what was most important to Clare as she sees her books adapted. “I really want them to stay true to the relationships between the characters,” she explained. “Jace’s relationship to his adoptive family was really important. I feel like the whole twist with Jace and Clary and their relationship was really important and guides the next two books, and you can’t really take it out. It’s so taboo at the same time, but they’re just going with it. That’s what makes these books.”

One of the biggest disappointments in the first script was that warlock Magnus was left out entirely, despite the fact that he has a pivotal role later on, particularly as boyfriend to young Shadowhunter Alec. “That’s one of the things Marlene really got. In the interactions between Alec and Magnus, you can see their burgeoning relationship, which I think is really nice,” she said. “I really wanted them to keep the positive portrayal of gay characters, and the gay relationship was important and relatable and went along with everybody else’s relationships.”

King recently turned in revamp the script, and Clare said she’s pleased with it.

“I’ve got my fingers crossed,” she said. “Now, all the producers have to sign off on the rewrite and if they’re happy with it then we move forward. They still want to shoot early next spring, so they’re going to have to go bang, bang, bang with casting and everything like that.”

Clare estimates that we’re probably going to see a spring/summer 2013 release date instead of the previous goal of 2012. In the meantime, however, we’ve got plenty of Shadowhunter books to read and reread. Come back to TheFABlife tomorrow for more from Clare on Clockwork Prince, Infernal Devices movies and what will come after both series’ conclusions."

Can you believe this???

It is really, really stupid that the studio/writers would even consider getting rid of main characters, especially someone as pivotal as Magnus Banes!

What are your thoughts??

Paramount to Make DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONES by Laini Taylor into a Film?!?!?

Paramount Pictures is planning an adaptation of Laini Taylor's fantasy novel, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Deadline reports. Planned as a trilogy, the first book was released this past September and is officially described on Taylor's site as follows:

Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.

In a dark and dusty shop, a devil's supply of human teeth grown dangerously low.

And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.

Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she's prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands"; she speaks many languages--not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out.

When one of the strangers--beautiful, haunted Akiva--fixes his fire-colored eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?

Nothing is official as of yet, but the studio is likely eyeing Taylor's novel as a potential franchise.

Breaking Dawn Pt 1 is 2 out of 5 Hearts!

Let me start by saying, that giving this film a two, for me anyways, is being gracious and unfair, because the film as a whole, as one cohesive product was honestly, quite terrible. It was by far the worst of the series, the best having been Eclipse, but that being said, the film also had some of the best moments of the enitre film series.

For all of the movies up until this point, the opening sequences have been one of my favorite parts because they have always been beautiful, but the opening for Breaking Dawn pt 1 with Bella's voice over was cheesey and rather, lame. It held none of the mystique that Twilight's opening had. None of the eerie beauty that New Moon's opening had and none of the mesmerizing allure that Eclipse had. It was boring and then it was over.

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!! Gave you fair warning!!! This review has some spoilers.

Flash over to Bella wearing an oddly fitted leather jacket while wearing heels, practicing for her wedding walk down the isle. Alice is all awkward and is nothing like the quirky, whimsy Alice she was in the original Twilight film, which sucks. But lets move on, shall we?

Here are some highlights (aka, the only highlghts):

*Taylor Lautner CAN act! I believed him 95% of the time and I was very pleased. He was very great as Jacob.
*Kstew, who I have always liked, was this time, very good as Bella. I believed her and she finally acted!! Kstew can act, but the Twilight films never, truly allowed her to show it.
*The wedding was nice for the most part and the toasts given by everyone, especially Jessica, were hilarious! They were really awesome.
*Bella trying to convinve Edward to have sex with her was hilarious! She wears see throw outfits and raises her butt in the air and swings her hips. It was truly awesome.
*Seth was great and the way he acted about Bella and everything was great!
*The fact that a fight scene was added and Esme and Alice BOTH nearly died, was heck'a awesome!!! I was actually wondering/hoping they would go there, that they would kill them. But they didn't . . . .
*The sex scene was awesome!! Not because it was good, but because it was SOOOOOO strange! The thrusting and moaning and then Bella crying about NOT having sex anymore and how badly she wanted to, made me and all my friends laugh like crazy! It was truly fun and funny, but for all the wrong reasons......
*Bella breaks. Her spine, then her knees and its like something from the Exorcism. Its knarly.
*Bella's birth scene, was by far the best part of the film, possibly series and things that happened after. And I mean this truly - it was great. It was not too bloody, though I would have wanted more grit, but whatevs. It was scary and beautiful and just great. WARNING WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! Bella dies. Seriously, she dies. You have read the books, you know she is gone for like a minute before she returns, but in the movie, she is gone for hours. Its actually kind of sad, no, it is sad. Jacob cries and it is moving and emotional and Edward is distraught. Bella lays on the table, a corpse and disgusting looking and the camera just looks at her, as if waiting for her to come back alive, but she doesn't. The scene was amazing. Then slowing, she starts to change. She vamps out. Goes pale-er. Her hair brightens. Body heals. Close up to her face, as she looks BEAUTIFUL & STUNNING and her eyes open. They are red. THE END!
.. . . . .... . . . . . .credits role, enter Volturi. They are sent a letter from Carlisle which says, Bella is now a vampire. The Volturi are on their way.

The Bad???:

*Jacob imprinting was horrible. WILL NEVER understand it. Its pedophilia. Steph Meyer is a Mormon, who spends millions of dollars to stop gay rights (look it up), but apparently approves of pedophilia....? Holy Crow!! --- as she would say.
*the score was bad. Way tooo loud and drowned out 'emotional' scenes. sucked.
*the opening sequence, as said before, was bad. sucked.
*the wigs in this film, excluding Alice's, was terrible. very. even Reneeseme's, who they show as teenager. Frankly, she looked like Victoria of New Moon's baby, not Bellas.
*the special effects sucked royaly. the wolves looked wack. they even talk to each other as wolves and I SWEAR, it looks like an animation, like friggin BALTO. ugh.
*the honeymoon was beautiful, but stupid . . . hard to explain.....
*No Blonde jokes. yep. the funny jokes Jake makes towards Rosalie, were not present at all.
*THE MOVIE. the movie was bad. it may have had great moments, but a film, a good film, should not have, 'okay moments', but she be great as a whole. it should be smooth and fluid, from start to finish and scenes should only be funny if they are meant to be funny. the movie sucked. will only watch it ever again, if it came on TV, but I am not buying it like i did the previous 3. Nope.

Should you see? Yes, if you are fan of the series, and by fan I mean a Twihard, which in that case means you already have.

Should you see? Yes, if you dont mind spending 8 bucks on a film that is not worth it, but has some nice scenes and plays like a comedy for the rest of the time when its suppose to be a romance/drama.

Should you see? HECK, HELL, HADES NO!!!!!! If you have any real taste in films and need to spend your money on something more important, like, I dont know, gum or fishsticks, then no, do not go see it. If want to see something worth your time, then do not see Breaking Dawn Pt 1, 'cus you will regret it.

Pick your option: 1, 2, or 3. I was 2. The film sucked so badly, that it was actually good, so eh, take what you will....

Peace and Gravy,

THE First HUNGER GAMES Trailer!! Yerp....

I love this trailer and I hate it.... I am not really sure why. Either way, it looks amazing. Honestly, it looks perfect.

They need to make sure, however, that they provide a trailer that will appeal to a broader audience, a trailer that details the technology better...

The Capitol? . . . .Brilliant!

Lauren Kate's RAPTURE Cover!!

This is my favorite cover of the series!

P.C. and Kristin Cast's HOUSE OF NIGHT Series To Become Films?!?!

Courtesy of Comingsoon.net

"Samuel Hadida announced today that his company, Davis Films, has acquired film rights from authors P.C. and Kristin Cast to their "House of Night" young adult fiction book series.

The ninth book in the series, "Destined," was just published on October 25. The series, from the mother-daughter writing team, has sold over 12 million copies in the United States, keeping it on The New York Times bestseller list for a record 140 weeks. The books have consistently debuted at #1 in the United States, Canada, UK, and Australia, and have been published in 39 countries around the globe.

The books chronicle the coming of age of 16-year-old Zoey Redbird, who learns she is genetically marked to either become a "vampyre" in adolescence, or be killed in the process. She leaves her family for the House of Night, a special boarding school for such "fledglings" to receive the training necessary to survive as an adult vampyre. At the House of Night, Zoey soon comes to experience a complex world where dark is not always evil, and light is not always good.

"We are thrilled to bring P.C. and Kristin's stunning series of books to worldwide film audiences," stated Samuel Hadida. "They have created a world of adolescent growth against a backdrop of supernatural suspense that resonates around the world with young readers immersed in 'Twilight' and 'Harry Potter.' House of Night connects on a profound level -- what growing up means today."

Davis Films is known for its film series, including "Silent Hill" and most notably the "Resident Evil" films. "We see with House of Night the same franchise potential," Hadida added."

Though I heard many people loved the first few books and disliked the last few, I am sure that this news is very exciting for fans of the book series.

This Weeks Question --

Q.If you could have characters from a particular book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a particular TV series, which would you choose and why?
I would have Harry Potter with all of their awesome magics go up against Buffy and gang, with her vengence demon friend, Dark Willow BFF and vampire boyfriends and oh . . . . yeah, her gang of Potential Slayers, and I would love to see who would win . . .
Willow, honestly, as goddess or Dark Willow would probably kill Harry Potter, Dumby and Voldy with one bat of her eyelashe, but you never know!
I would love to see that 'cus HP is my fav books and Buffy is my fav TV show!!

Rick Riordan's PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS Becoming A Film With A Release Date!

"When Thalia's tree is mysteriously poisoned, the magical borders of Camp Half-Blood begin to fail. Now Percy and his friends have just days to find the only magical item powerful enough to save the camp before monsters overrun it. The catch: they must sail into the Sea of Monsters to find it. Along the way, Percy must stage a daring rescue operation to save his old friend Grover. He also learns a terrible secret about his own family, which makes him question whether being the son of Poseidon is an honor or a curse."

The film does not yet have a director, but it's expected release date is March 27, 2013!

Though I didn't really like The Lightning Thief film, I thought it was enjoyable for the most part and I really hope that with The Sea of Monsters, they stick with the book much more then they did with the first film.

Fingers crossed!!

Joseph Delaney's THE LAST APPRENTICE Series to Become a Film That Will Not Follow the Books?!?! What . . .

ComingSoon.net has spoken with actor Ben Barnes many times over the past few years, mainly about his role as Prince Caspian in the last two "The Chronicles of Narnia" movies. Barnes will be returning to epic fantasy films next year with The Seventh Son, a film loosely based on Joseph Delaney's series of children's books known as "The Wardstone Chronicles" (or "The Last Apprentice" in the States), which began with "The Spook's Apprentice" in 2004. Barnes will be playing the character referred to in the title, a young man named Thomas Ward, who can see ghosts and is hired as the apprentice to one such entity played by Jeff Bridges.

When speaking with Barnes for his new movie Killing Bono, a comedy based on the memoirs of music journalist Neil McCormick who went to school in Dublin with the members of U2, we asked him about the project which will start filming in March with Mongol director Sergei Bodrov at the helm.

"The plans for this are to shoot in Vancouver and China and some of the artwork just looks incredible," he told us. "I think it's certainly going to look pretty special, and I've read a couple of the books on which this series is based and they're pretty engaging. The main draws were Sergei directing it, and Legendary Pictures making it. They make Batman and 'Inception,' amazing movies, and to top that off, most of my scenes are with Jeff Bridges, who is one of my favorite actors."

When asked how they would be adapting and incorporating elements from Delaney's novels into the movie and whether the movie would be just made up of the first book or multiple books, he admitted that the movie will definitely take things in a different direction:

"It's nothing like the first book really, but they changed it a lot. I don't think it's particularly like 'The Hunger Games' or 'Twilight' where you can go 'based on the books,' because I don't think this series is as popular yet, so I think there's a chance to rewrite and make the best movie for the movie's sake. I think sometimes when you stick exactly to the book, there's a danger of it becoming a bit literary, so I think visually they want to make the most exciting film so they've changed a lot. My character in the book is 13 or something, but then the romance element in the book doesn't really make any sense - it makes more sense to have those characters a little older. Some of the story in the first book is very static so this is going to be a lot more visual and action-oriented."

"Hopefully it will hold me in good stead," he quipped when we mentioned his previous experience with literary action epics from the last two movies based on C.S. Lewis's "The Chronicles of Narnia."

As far as that franchise, he feels two movies might be it for him as his character only appears in one more book, "The Silver Chair," and in that one, he's in his 70s.

"No more opportunity for me to go back and swashbuckle at 30 I don't think but we'll see," he said. "It's possible, but I think they might go and do 'The Magician's Nephew' next anyway, which is like a prequel."
What are your thoughts???

Are they insane to so blatantly diverge from the book series??

Have you read the books??

Let Me Know!

This Weeks Question --

Q. If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?
Ummmmmmmmm . . .. . . . . ... . . . .

Huh . . . . . .. .... .. . . .  .. .  .

Harry Potter, as Harry Potter is my obvious choice.

Eragon from the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini.

Gandalf from LOTR & The Hobbit.

There is more, but I really don't know. Its a hard question - good question.

Cover Lust (2)!! SPECIAL --- GRACELING AND FIRE Companion- BITTERBLUE by Krisitn Cashore!!

Kristin Cashore's Bitterblue cover, the third book in the Graceling series has been revealed and it is stunning. I want it! I love it! And I am lusting for it!!

'Book 3, tentatively titled Bitterblue and currently in progress, is a companion book to both Graceling and Fire and takes place in the seven kingdoms eight years after Graceling. Bitterblue will tie all three books together in some way. Bitterblue is the sixteen-year-old protagonist, and Katsa, Po, Giddon, Helda, and other characters from Graceling will be part of the fabric of the book. Plenty of fighting still to come!'

Cashore says: "I was thrilled when I saw the keys and that they look a little like weapons,” Cashore told PW in a phone interview. “It’s absolutely the best icon for this book, although I better not say more about that. I love all the covers but this one is my favorite."

Hardcover, 576 pages
Expected publication: May 1st 2012 by Dial
What are your thoughts of  the cover????
How xcited are you for Bitterblue?
Have you read/like Graceling and Fire???
And again - this cover? Awesome, right???

Photos of Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth in SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN Film!!

Kristen Stewart ("Twilight") plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the one girl threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, "Thor") who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin ("Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides") joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White's beauty and power.

I honestly can not decide which one I'm more excited about . . .

Lily's version looks beautiful and clever, but Kristen's version looks intense and dark and action packed!

Will def be seeing both as soon as they release!!

Your thoughts?

Which one are you most interested in?

Which looks better so far???

In the Relativity release, an evil Queen (Julia Roberts) steals control of a kingdom, and an exiled princess (Lily Collins) enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright in a spirited adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.

I think the pictures look brilliant and are *hopefully* a good sign that the movie will be great, it is an action comedy after all!

Lily Collins looks stunning.

So are you interested in this movie?

What about Kristen Stewarts' Snow White project?

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES Film Gets PRETTY LITTLE LIARS' Writer AND Author Cassandra Clare's Involvement!?!?!

It was recently announced that the first installment in the best-selling series, The Mortal Instruments, City of Bones by Cassandra, has finally gotten it's screenplay writer and it is I. Marlene King, writer and co-creator of ABC Family's hit series, Pretty Little Liars! But that's not all - King has decided to let Cassie Clare play a big role in the film, by co-writing the script!!!!

This is great news!

Just like with The Hunger Games film, whose script was also written by the book's author, Suzanne Collins, the involvement of the movies' source creator will only be beneficial to the creation of the film, ensuring that the movie will be as close to the book as possible.

King has written some of the best episodes on Pretty Littler Liars, so I have no fear at all with her writing the script. Besides with Cassie working on it as well, it can only be awesome.

Can not wait to hear more news about the film and can not wait to see who gets cast next!

Clary Fray played by Lily Collins!

Jace Wayland played by Jamie Campbell Bower!

The film is directed by Scott Stewart!

Can't wait!!

What are your thoughts on the film?

Who do you want to play the roles of the characters?

PERCY JACKSON's Author Rick Riordan New God Series to Deal With Norse Mythology!!

Rick Riordan is going to write a new series about gods of myth and lore. He has done Greek and Egyptian and will now do Norse mythology!

He Says:

“The Norse gods are so wild. They have this wild, barbaric energy you don’t associate with the Greeks.”

“There are so many fantastic stories and I want to bring Thor and Odin and the other gods into the modern world, just like I did with the Greeks and Percy Jackson,” Riordan said. “I’ll give the books an urban setting and have young people interacting with the Norse gods.”

The series is only plotted in generality and is not expected to hit shelves until after 2015, since Riordan is still working on the Kane Chronicles and The Heroes of Olympus!

Are you excited for the Norse Mythology??

Hope he does Chinese Mythology, like I really hope he does?!?!

Lionsgate to Turn CHAOS WALKING Series by Patrick Ness into A Film Series!!

"EW has confirmed that Lionsgate has obtained worldwide rights to develop, produce and distribute films based on Patrick Ness’s hit Young Adult trilogy “Chaos Walking.” Like Lionsgate’s other hot property, The Hunger Games, the “Chaos Walking” books (The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and the Answer, and Monsters of Men) are set in a dystopian future, feature a young savior, and are marked by dark tone and thrilling action. Taking place in a settlement called Prentisstown on a planet like Earth, an infection known as the Noise renders all thoughts audible and destroys all privacy. War wages between a corrupt government and the planet’s native population, and tween Todd Hewitt discovers he holds the key to his planet’s existence.

Alli Shearmur, Lionsgate’s president of production and development who will be overseeing the books’ transition to film, said, “Although these stories are set in a critical time in the future, they speak volumes about what is happening all over the world today, and about the power of young people to challenge the status quo and change the course of our future.” Added Lionsgate’s co-COO and president Joe Drake, “These are books, much like The Hunger Games, that we feel truly beg to be brought to life on film. ” The Departed producer Doug Davison will take on the project through his company Quadrant Pictures."

Book One Synopsis:

"Prentisstown isn't like other towns. Everyone can hear everyone else's thoughts in an overwhelming, never-ending stream of Noise. Just a month away from the birthday that will make him a man, Todd and his dog, Manchee -- whose thoughts Todd can hear too, whether he wants to or not -- stumble upon an area of complete silence. They find that in a town where privacy is impossible, something terrible has been hidden -- a secret so awful that Todd and Manchee must run for their lives.

But how do you escape when your pursuers can hear your every thought?"

This book/series sounds great and I am certaintly going to be checking them out asap!
